WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2018, Lady Boss Round Table (LBRT) is a professional network for women entrepreneurs who don’t want to feel alone in their business.
We believe it is important to be transparent with data. The following will cover the data we keep and what we do with it.
DEFINITIONS
• “We”, “Us”, “site” or “LBRT” will be used to describe Lady Boss Round Table website.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT
We collect data when you create an account with us.
This may include personal data, such as name, email address, personal account preferences; transnational data, such as purchase history; and technical data, such as information about cookies.
We collect this data to retain user accounts on the site so that users can “bookmark” or store their favorite listing within the site and access exclusive information that account holders get access to such as special discounts and local offers.
FINANCIAL DATA
These purchases or transactions are going through a third party eCommerce platform that completes the financial transactions on our behalf. We use Woo commerce for all of our financial transactions; therefore, Lady Boss Round Table does not have access to financial data when purchases are made as that information is encrypted.
We cannot see credit card information on our back end.
COMMENTS
When account holders leave comments on blog posts our records retain their name, email address, IP address, time and date and what posts was commented on.
CONTACT FORMS
When users use the contact form to contact us or another listing, we receive a copy of the email.
We collect the user’s name, email and message so that we can ensure quality service and monitor for safety and security reasons.
COOKIES
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
ANALYTICS
We use Google Analytics to track the site performance, visitor numbers, time of visit and most visited pages.
We also use Facebook Pixel to help us target users who may like our service during Facebook marketing campaigns.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
By default Lady Boss Round Table does not share any personal data with anyone for any reason.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. These accounts are protected by a user-defined password.
WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
All comments and listings are reviewed by our staff.
WHAT DATA BREACH PROCEDURES WE HAVE IN PLACE
In the unlikely event that a data breach should occur, we will contact the proper authorities for the case depending on type of information taken. This can include local police, Federal Trade Commission or Credit reporting companies.
By default, we do not collect information such as birthdays, social security numbers, or any other personally identifiable information other than name and email address.
WHAT THIRD PARTIES WE RECEIVE DATA FROM
At this time, Lady Boss Round Table does not receive data from any third party website.
WHAT AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING AND/OR PROFILING WE DO WITH USER DATA
At this time, Lady Boss Round Table does not use any automated decision making or profiling with user data.
